After 7 years, we are still working on the hospital - finishing the final packages as well as new projects within the old ward block. CK likes to takes photos of me at work, perhaps he does this to help me with material for my blog, or he is tickled that we are still flying 2 hours each month to sort out corridor widths and ceiling heights.
I enjoy this work; solving problems on site, coordinating services and structure with architecture, negotiating with people to minimise redundant work. I also enjoy the people's company - we have built something of significance outside Sarawak, and no one can take that away from us.
