Once in Amsterdam, we stopped at a small coffee shop for a mid morning snack. The man serving us looked in his late 50s - he was cheerful and chatty and introduced us to the barcalao sandwich. While he made the sandwiches, he told us that he was retired and worked here a few days a week because he enjoyed talking to people and making food for them. I made a note for myself.
On the drive back from Cove, AS asked me what my plans for retirement were - and I told him I would to work a couple of days a week making sandwiches and coffee in a cafe. I told him people are always happy to receive food - so I was sure that I would be surrounded with good vibes.
