2.11.2025 Sunday - a walk, a clean, and a new plan

today is a good day- I wake early and go for a walk, ankles feel ok - so I jog a bit rest a bit, follow with another jog. 10 steps later I return to eat and clean my work space at home. And decide to change it to a drawing space, I start by preparing the sticks I collected from Melbourne into drawing instruments.

1.11.2025 Saturday - human after all

The day starts with a visit to Dr. Tan; I am down with a cough and heavy head. I like her approach; strong meds, quick fix, get well, and get back to work.
Potential remedy
30 secs on, 10 secs rest - 5 exercises per set; 10 sets

  1. Single arm rows
  2. Squats
  3. Cleans
  4. Press (or can do as clean-and-press)
  5. Swings

Tomorrow - I ll start the day earlier and go for a walk and then cycle to work. 5 a.m. out the door, wear slippers if lazy to wear shoes. one hour later return to shower and go to the gym or the office if there is another physical activity later that day.

31.10. 2025 Friday - making plans for dinner

I am not sure what her work involves, but she seems to have bounced off the 'rejection' from her earlier work-mates. She is busy often working late into the night, her colleagues appear to be responsible people, they drop her off when work goes over time. We have not met them, and I think perhaps this is a good thing - she is probably thinking let's wait for things to stabilise before we have dinners together. We have always told them that they must be happy with their work, they must contribute to the community and they must be productive; how much money they make is not relevant - the rewards will come sometimes it is financial, other times it is not. It can come in the way of a referral, a free offer of a base to work from, encouragement and advice when needed.

30.10.2025 Thursday - highlights of the trip

Favourite places with my favourite person - g despite all the exciting new things and people whom we enjoyed meeting on this trip - the ones that come immediately are the ones I share with Sam. Whether it is a place, like the new Anzac Memorial where she made a bouquet for me, when I was looking for sticks to make into drawing tools, or National Art Gallery where we often spent our university Sundays. Often it is the impromptu pauses along our journey 'aimless wandering' that are the confirms how much our thoughts and feelings; to save the chilli from her Spicy Magarita to cook with dinner that night, and you made me a bouquet when I was simply for sticks to sketch with.
