The morning starts with resolved elevations for Santai; a bay window at the living room, and small balcony for master bedroom. The grilles for the air cond compartment runs across the front of the balcony, and is framed with a steel oblong. The entire facade undulates along its length, folded gently at each bay.
I tell Freddie that I have been happy these past few days, as I have completed a number drawings; the lift core for Santai, Semi-D layouts for Faiz, and sketches the river-side hotel masterplan. He thinks it makes a difference when the 'bosses' work at designing and planning.
We then go to inspect the apartments before handing over to the owners. It's been a number of years. I think ultimately it pays for our overheads without much profit, and also not suited for publication, as it does not have enough redeeming features.
That evening, we have dinner with the TOKYO5 at PD, TY drops in and we have a long chat. It appears that we have a new project with them - one which I started several months ago. 22.July 2025
