28.1.2024 Sunday - think we will design houses again

 

1 Mar 2023 Wednesday - riverside house

 Our last house was not fulfilling, and the one before that did not have a story to tell. Prior to that, we had Mike's house and Dona's house which I felt worthy of publication. It is a personal benchmark for myself - whether it is publishable in the local architects' magazine. 

We have not got a new house project for a while now; so the phone call for a new house/guest house by the river was exciting.

started sketching in the large sketch book again, and enjoying it

Nothing beats drawing freely in a large sketch book, because it allowed my mind to wonder until it latched on something interesting. I don't do this enough, this journaling exercise is a good reason for me to do so, and daily. 

Morpholio Trace allows me to colour in the plans and prepare them into a slide to send them to the client. 

This Saturday was much the same as any other, we woke up and I worked at the dining table, later Sean and Sara woke up and we prepared for them to leave us again later that day; flying back to KL.
